What is a Recognised Teaching Centre?
The University of London’s Recognised Teaching Centre (RTC) status, granted to Universidad Internacional de Desarrollo (UID), is the result of a rigorous institutional evaluation process that lasted nearly one year and concluded with formal approval by the University of London. This milestone marked the beginning of a joint academic collaboration, as well as an ongoing process of quality assurance and validation.
This model enables Paraguayan students to access a British qualification with global academic standards without leaving the country, while receiving in-person, contextualised academic support provided by UID.

Founded in 1836 as a federal university, the University of London is made up of 17 member institutions and coordinates an extensive international academic network comprising globally recognised centres of excellence.
Internationally, the University of London has more than 100 Recognised Teaching Centres in over 40 countries. This status enables UID to deliver programmes in Paraguay that are designed, assessed, and quality-assured by the University of London, in accordance with international academic standards.
